APSC Forest Ranger Recruitment 2021 : Assam Public Service Commission invites application for the post of Forest Rangers in the Assam Forest Service under Environment & Forests Deptt and thereafter for undergoing in-service Certificate Course of training in Forestry vide Advt. No.24/2021.

Qualification and Vacancy details

APSC Forest Ranger Online Form 2022

No. of Vacancies: 50

Qualification: Applicant must possess Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Science or Engineering (relevant disciplines) of any recognized University.

Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2021 (Age relaxation as per rules)

Pay Scale: Rs. 22,000/- to 97,000/- with Grade Pay- Rs. 10,300/- (Pay Band-3)

(i) Male candidate: Normal-79 cm and Expansion- 05 cm

Selection Process

1. Written Examination: 600 Marks(4 Papers)

2. Candidates who qualify the written examination must pass a Walking Test covering a distance of 25 km for Male Candidates and 16 km for Female Candidates within 4 (four) hours on foot followed by a medical examination by the Medical Board.

3. Those candidates found fit in the above will be required to produce a health certificate signed by the Medical Board in the form prescribed.

4. Interview: 75 Marks- The Candidates who pass the Walking test (after qualifying the written examination) and found fit in the medical examination will be called for interview.

How To Apply

1. Applicants are required to apply online through APSC’s recruitment website

2. Applicants who have not registered yet, in Online Recruitment Portal of APSC are first required to go to the APSC’s recruitment website https://apscrecruitment.in and register themselves by clicking on ‘Register Here’ link

3. CANDIDATES ARE ADVISED TO REGISTER WITH VALID AND ACTIVE E-MAIL ADDRESS IN THE ONLINE APPLICATION, AS ALL CORRESPONDENCE WILL BE MADE THROUGH E-MAIL BY THE COMMISSION.

4. After creating an account, applicants need to login with the credentials.

5. After login, applicant will be able to see the live advertisements of APSC in ‘Apply Section’.

6. An applicant is required to upload the scanned images of his/her recent photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG format.

7. After previewing the details filled in by the applicant he/she can either click ‘Submit’ for final submission or click ‘Cancel’ button for necessary corrections before final submission of the Application Form.

8. On completion of form submission applicant has to pay application fee along with processing fee as applicable.

9. On successful completion of your complete application, an auto-generated email message will be sent on your registered email-id.

10. Applicant may also fill their online form through Common Service Centers. Applicants without debit card/Internet banking may visit nearest CSCs.

11. After submitting the Online Application, the candidates are required to take out a print out of the finally submitted Online Recruitment Application and retain the hardcopy of the Online Application Form.
